Crawl readiness
Generative Engine Optimization, as Datvix measures it
Generative Engine Optimization is the work of making a site understandable to answer engines. In Datvix, the GEO score is a crawl measurement of that readiness. It is not a map of visitors, and it is not the AI Visibility score from prompt runs.
GEO and traditional SEO
Traditional SEO in Datvix is the technical and on-page crawl: broken links, redirects, canonicals, indexability, titles, headings, and related issue lists. Those findings tell you what a crawler could fetch and how the pages are marked up.
GEO readiness uses crawl signals that help an answer engine extract the page: schema coverage, FAQ-style content, and extractability. A strong technical crawl does not by itself mean an answer engine mentioned or cited the brand.
GEO and AI Visibility
AI Visibility starts when you run prompts and Datvix stores a successful observation. Mentions, citations, tracked competitors, share of voice, and the visibility score come from those observations. The GEO score does not copy those numbers, and a prompt-run score does not rewrite the crawl.
Use the crawl to fix what the site publishes. Use AI Visibility to see whether ChatGPT mentioned or cited the brand for the prompts you ran. Recrawl after you change the site. Re-run prompts when you want a new observation. Datvix does not watch answer engines continuously, and it does not guarantee a citation or a ranking.
